Hi everyone and happy Sunday! After a morning filled with Church, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the All Steak. Once we were home and in our comfy clothes we were all ready to chill. I thought it would be a great time to finish up a few crafty creations. Ooohhh how I love girl time! I'm a few steps closer to revealing my bookcase. I've been working on it for a few weeks now. And of course it's reveal will be accompanied by a tutorial. Everyone together... SQUEAL!!! Now on to today's fun. I picked up this "H" awhile back at the Hobby Lobby. It is my first attempt at decoupage. I decided to tear the scrapbook paper I was working with, into smaller pieces. Once I had my paper ready I used Modge Podge to layer it on. I allowed the Modge Podge some time to dry. Then I used antiquing glaze and ink to age my happy little H. I concentrated on the torn edges and corners. After finishing my aging process I topped it all off with another layer of Modge Podge. This my friends, is the finished result...
Not perfect, but then again not too shabby either! Thanks for celebrating this crafty creation with me. God's blessings on your evening, Sarah :D
